CLEVELAND, OH – Protegis Fire & Safety LLC today announced a successful sale to Summit Fire & Security, a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies), one of the largest players in the fire & life safety industry.  Protegis is a portfolio company of Align Capital Partners (“ACP”), a private equity firm with investment teams in Dallas, TX and Cleveland, OH.

Protegis has 13 locations in Ohio, Kentucky, central Florida and the Baltimore-DC region.  Protegis becomes part of the much larger Summit Fire & Security, an industry leader with 59 locations in 20 states with the Protegis acquisition.  Both Protegis and Summit Companies have national account coverage of the entire country through affiliates.
